AGREX INC. (President and Representative Director: Shuji Yamamoto, hereinafter “AGREX”) under TIS INTEC Group and justInCase Technologies Inc. (CEO: Kazy Hata, hereinafter “justInCase Technologies”) have entered into a capital and business alliance agreement for collaboration in the BPaaS(*1) sector. As their first collaborative venture, they have begun developing a BPaaS model that supports everything from insurance product design to operational management.
*1 BPaaS (Business Process as a Service) is a service model that combines BPO (Business Process Outsourcing), which outsources specific business processes to external specialists, with SaaS (Software as a Service), which provides software via the internet.

Alliance Background
In today’s rapidly changing business environment, while many companies are embracing SaaS as part of their digital transformation journey, they find that SaaS implementations have not met their expected results. In the insurance industry, despite growing SaaS adoption, certain operations still require human involvement – particularly in areas such as customer service and document processing which cannot be fully addressed by SaaS solutions alone. Against this backdrop, AGREX, a BPO provider with extensive insurance industry experience, and justinCase Technologies, a driver of insurance digital transformation, have formed this alliance to maximize the effectiveness of digital transformation initiatives in the insurance industry. Together, they have launched a BPaaS service (hereinafter “the Service”) for insurance providers.
Service Overview
Through this alliance, AGREX and justInCase Technologies have jointly developed the Service, built on the SaaS-based insurance system “joinsure.” The Service provides end-to-end processes from product design to policy management and operations, accommodating various insurance sales channels (e.g. embedded insurance (*2) and web-based etc.) and various product types (e.g. small-amount short-term insurance and guarantees, etc.). It creates new customer experience as a “service of choice” by meeting diverse policyholder needs, providing optimal product design aligned with customer journeys, supporting multiple channels, and delivering comprehensive customer support that builds trust and confidence.
The Service consists of three main components:
SaaS-based Insurance System “joinsure”
“joinsure” comprises insurance distribution and application, policy management, and claims management systems, providing essential functions for insurance business operations. It significantly reduces initial costs compared to scratch development and automatically updates to comply with legal changes. Using “joinsure,” with its implemented insurance business functions, enables rapid business and product launch.
BPO Services
For insurance product operations, a specialized team “joinsure-Shared-Desk” is established, centered around AGREX’s call center capabilities, combined with peripheral administrative functions (e.g. document collection, data entry, document printing/shipping, data processing, etc.). The team continuously analyzes and improves outsourced processes.
Consulting
The Service offers consulting for creating attractive insurance products and designing efficient operations. It leverages justInCase Technologies’ expertise in developing small-amount, short-term insurance products and mobile-based sales, combined with AGREX’s deep industry knowledge and operational expertise in process visualization, analysis, and design.
With the above components, insurance providers can develop and sell insurance products without the need to build their own systems or maintain an operational framework. By utilizing the Service, business providers from other industries can also overcome common barriers to launching embedded insurance or small-amount, short-term insurance products, such as a lack of insurance industry expertise, challenges in securing operational staffs, and the burden of IT investments. the Service also helps reduce risks associated with changes in business environments or scale.
*2 Embedded insurance refers to a sales distribution model where insurance products are integrated into other businesses’ products or services.”
